CURRENT STAFF VACANCIES

Teacher of Religious Studies (Special Character) permanent, part-time (0.7 FTTE) position from Term 4 2025, or earlier by mutual agreement.   We welcome applications from beginning teachers.

We are seeking a Religious Education teacher to join our kura in a permanent position from Term 4 2025, or earlier by mutual agreement.   As this is a Special Character position, a willingness and ability to take part in religious instruction appropriate to the special character of the College is a condition of employment.  We welcome applications from beginning teachers.   This is a part-time position;  however, there is the potential for additional hours subject to future staffing.

Catholic Cathedral College is a special character, co-educational College with over 500 students, centrally located on the historic site where Catholicism in Christchurch began and is immediately adjacent to the original site of the Catholic Cathedral of the Blessed Sacrament on Barbadoes Street.   We are a culturally diverse, whānau-focused school and follow the charisms of our founding orders To Live by Faith. Relief Teachers

We are looking for qualified teachers to join our pool of day-to-day relief teachers to start immediately, all subjects.

Previous experience working in a Special Character school or kura is an advantage but not a prerequisite.

Must be available at short notice and readily able to be contacted by phone.
